Takula joined Brimstone Investment Corporation in June 2005. Prior to this, he was executive assistant to the managing director at Old Mutual SA, having worked in Old Mutual's Corporate Finance team for two years.  He has served as executive director of African Harvest, and worked for Delta Corporation (SAB) and the JSE’s Inspectorate division.
