Peter joined Old Mutual in 1978 and held a variety of executive roles there before being appointed deputy managing director of Old Mutual Life Assurance Company (South Africa) in 2000. He retired from Old Mutual in November 2008, and is currently a non-executive director of a number of Old Mutual group subsidiary companies. Peter holds a BBusSc degree from UCT, and is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries and the Actuarial Society of South Africa.
